2011 fellow Ester Sumbana joins Plan International Mozambique
The UNU-GEST team congratulates the former 2011 fellow, Ester Maceda Sumbana, on her recent position as the Gender Coordinator and Advisor of the Plan International Mozambique. Plan International Mozambique is an organization working in 50 developing countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas.

UNU-GEST contributes to the GGEO 2016
The Global Gender and Environment Outlook (GGEO) was published In May of 2016 at the United Nations Environment Assembly. The GGEO constitutes the first assessment that provides a comprehensive overview about the interplay between gender and the environment.

2016 alumnus Daniel Amponsah submits UNU-GEST final assignment to Ministry of Gender and Social Protection in Ghana
Mr. Amponsah submitted his completed project to Nana Oye Lithur, a human rights lawyer and leading advocate on sexual and gender equality in Ghana, as well as Minister of Gender and Social Protection.
