New MOOC on business driven landscape restoration

In celebration of the Word Soil Day on 5 December, the ENABLE consortium announced the creation of a new massive open online course (MOOC) on Business Model Innovation for Sustainable Landscape Restoration, which is now open for registration. The MOOC is co-created by UNU-LRT and other partners in the ENABLE consortium and will be launched on 14 February 2019.

UNU-GEST and the Icelandic Red Cross sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Last week, the United Nations University Gender Equality Studies and Training (UNU-GEST) Programme and the Icelandic Red Cross signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU expresses an interest in collaborating in developing gender equality projects and sharing of expertise in the field of humanitarian and developing work, in Iceland and internationally.

The book by EDDA Researcher Anne Flaspöler, African Peacekeeping Training Centres: Socialisation as a Tool for Peace? has just been published by Routledge. The publication was supported by the EDDA Center and the United Nations University Gender Studies and Training Programme (UNU-GEST).
