Fieldtrip to Búrfell Power Plant
The 2018 cohort of UNU-GEST fellows were invited to stay at the National Power Company’s, Landsvirkjun, Búrfell Power Station in south-central Iceland for a writing retreat focusing on their final assignments from the 15th to the 16th of March.

University of Montenegro and UNU-GEST offer joint scholarships
University of Montenegro and UNU-GEST invite masters students from the University of Montenegro to apply for a joint Erasmus+ and UNU-GEST fellowship to attend the 2019 Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in International Gender Studies at the University of Iceland. The 2019 programme will run from the 8th of January until the 24th of May 2019 in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Prof. Linda Hogan, Professor of Ecumenics at Trinity College Dublin, is the sixth lecturer in the joint RIKK and UNU-GEST 2018 spring term lecture series. Her lecture is titled „Religion, Gender and the Politics of Human Rights: A Genealogical Perspective“ and will take place today, March 19th from 12.00-13.00 in the Aula of the University of Iceland.
