‘This girl is on fire!’: Understanding Gender Through Literature and Other Cultural Texts
Dr. Giti Chandra, an associated scholar at UNU-GEST offers a new course at the University of Iceland. The course offers a range of readings and texts from literature, audio and visual texts, and theories, around issues of gender in all its ramifications.

UNU-GEST and Lebanese American University Offer Joint Scholarships
The Lebanese American University (LAU) and UNU-GEST invite master's students to apply for a joint Erasmus+ and UNU-GEST fellowships to attend the 2018 Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in International Gender Studies at the University of Iceland. The programme will run from January 8 to May 24, 2018 in Reykjavík, Iceland.

UNU-GEST Alumni 2017 Kevin Ogbajie: Two Months After Graduation
UNU-GEST is always excited to track down our alumni and catch up with them on their important work in their communities. Last year, UNU-GEST in collaboration with our alumni community drafted an alumni strategy, which sets out to create an international network of gender advocates, enabling them to share their knowledge, practices and support each other in the fight for gender equality worldwide. This year’s graduate, Kevin Ekechukwu Ogbajie from Nigeria, seems to have been busy since his graduation.
