Graduation of the 13th cohort of the UNU-FTP
On March 8, 17 UNU fellows graduated from the UNU-FTP. The fellows come from 14 countries and have specialized in three areas; Quality Management of Fish
Handling and Processing, Fisheries Policy and Planning, and Management of Fishing Companies and Marketing.

The visiting lecturer, Prof Trond Bjorndal from the University of Portsmouth, has since Monday January 24 been lecturing and meeting with UNU fellows.

Professor Bjorndal is the director of CEMARE – Center for Economics and Management of Aquatic Resources – at Portsmouth Business School, University of Portsmouth in England.

Field trip to the East Fjords
Monday 4th of October the
fellows visited the East Iceland to learn about pelagic fisheries, pelagic fish processing and fish meal production.
