From knowledge to development inpact GRÓ FTP - recording of event 4th February 2026

The second event in the series highlighting Iceland’s contribution to global capacity development through the four GRÓ Training Programmes took place in Akureyri on the 4th of February. GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme was the focus of the second event of the series, but the first event on GRÓ Geothermal Training Programme took place in November.

From Knowledge to Development Impact: Building Capacity for Sustainable Fisheries is the title of the second event in GRÓ's series of events highlighting Iceland's contribution to global capacity strengthening through the for GRÓ Training Programmes, which are a key component of Iceland's international development cooperation. The events are hosted by the GRÓ Centre for Capacity Development, Sustainability and Societal Change, the GRÓ Geothermal Training Programme, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Institute of International Affairs at the University of Iceland.
