The Launch of The Routledge Handbook of the Politics of the #MeToo Movement
GEST is proud to announce the virtual launch of The Routledge Handbook of the Politics of the #MeToo Movement at 1600/4pm GMT on 3 December 2020. The handbook is edited by GEST staff Dr. Giti Chandra and Dr. Irma Erlingsdóttir.
The handbook identifies thematic and theoretical areas of the #MeToo movement, makes connections between the ways in which it has panned out in different parts of the world and views it within the context of the many feminist and gendered struggles already in place and of the solidarities with similar movements across countries and cultures.
With contributions from gender experts spanning a wide range of disciplines including political science, history, sociology, law, literature, and philosophy, the book will have contemporary relevance for scholars, feminists, gender researchers and policymakers across the globe.
The virtual launch will be in the format of a Zoom Webinar, and you can register here.
