Short course in Reykjavik: Gender, Entrepreneurship and Innovation

A short course is offered in Reykjavik from 3 through 5 February 2016. This course provides insight for practitioners in the field of sustainable development into how to design initiatives to promote women´s projects, innovation and entrepreneurship. The objective of the training is to provide participants with the tools and skillset to lobby for, design, run and implement project of different sizes to enhance the role of women in setting up and running successfully their own businesses. Special focus is on training-of-trainers.

Mr. Thor Clausen is the instructor, but the design of the short course is based on a program in Uganda aimed at empowering beneficiaries to start-up and run their own businesses.
