UNU-FTP Welcomes Fellows for Six Month Training

This week, the United Nations University Fisheries Training Programme welcomed 20 new fellows for the six month training course in Iceland. This is the 17th cohort to participate in the six month training since the programme was first established in 1998.

UNU-FTP signs MoU with the Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation

Yesterday, September 29, 2014, the United Nations University Fisheries Training Programme and the Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation (BSFF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining collaboration between the two entities in the coming years.

Thecla Mutia, a PhD Fellow at the University of Iceland and a UNU-GTP Fellow in 2010, presented a poster on her thesis at the Polar Ecology Conference which is organised by the Centre for Polar Ecology, Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia.
