The second event in the series From Knowledge to Development Impact focusing on the work of the GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme and its impact after almost three decades of activity, took place in Akureyri on the 4th of February.

The status of the GRÓ Centre as a Category 2 Centre that operates under the auspices of UNESCO has been renewed for a period of eight years, or until 2034.
