FTP fellows wrapping up

This winter’s FTP fellows are wrapping up their final projects and will introduce them in a series of presentations in the coming days. The presentations are open to all. It is a great opportunity to learn about some of the challenges fisheries and aquaculture are facing in different countries throughout the world.
In total there will be six sets of presentations:
- The first set of presentations will be focused on stock assessment and fishing gear technology and take place at MFRI Auditorium Skúlagata 4 Reykjavík, Monday February 17th from 13:00 to 15:45.
- The second set of presentations will be focused on fisheries policies and management and also take place at MFRI Auditorium Skúlagata 4 Reykjavík, Tuesday February 18th from 09:30 to 11:45.
- The third set of presentations will be focused on fish processing and quality management and take place at Matis Vínlandsleið 12 Reykjavík, Tuesday February 18th from 13:00 to 15:45 (same day as the second set of presentations).
- The fourth set of presentations will be focused on sustainable aquaculture and take place at Verið in Sauðárkrókur, Wednesday February 19th from 10:00 to 12:00.
- The fifth set of presentations will be focused on fisheries policies and management and take place at the University of Akureyri Sólborg, Wednesday February 19th from 15:00 to 16:30 (same day as the fourth set of presentations).
- The last set of presentations will be focused on sustainable aquaculture and take place at MFRI Auditorium Skúlagata 4 Reykjavík, Thursday February 20th from 10:00 to 11:00.
A poster exhibition of the final projects is scheduled at MFRI Skúlagata 4 Reykjavík, Tuesday February 25th -- starting at 13:00. The graduation ceremony will then take place at the same place the day after at 15:00.
