GRÓ GTP and LRT fellows learn about green solutions and geothermal research at a social event

GRÓ fellows in the Geothermal Training Programme and Land Restoration Programme met at a social event organised by the GRÓ Centre at Gróska, the innovation and business growth centre in Reykjavík, in early June.

The fellows learnt about the activity of Green by Iceland, a platform for cooperation on climate issues and green solutions, hosted at Business Iceland. The role of Green by Iceland is to promote the export of Icelandic green solutions and renewable energy expertise. They also visited GEORG, The Geothermal Energy Research Cluster, that is also housed at Gróska, that aims to strengthen research and development in the field of geothermal energy.

Afterwards the fellows had an opportunity to socialise and get to know each other.
