Short Bio

Dr. Porfirion M. Alino is the Deputy Director of Research at the Marine Science Institute at the University of the Philippines. He has a Ph.D. Marine Chemical Ecology, James Cook University, Queensland, Australia and a M. Sc. Marine Biology, University of the Philippines, Diliman. Dr. Alino gave a series of lectures to the UNU fisheries training programme fellows.
