Short Bio
Julie joined FTP in early 2017 as operations manager and between then and 2022 gained experience in all aspects of FTP´s operations. In 2022 Julie became acting director while Þór and Mary Frances were away. Now serving as deputy director, she oversees a wide range of projects, including the administration of FTP´s alumni network and scholarships, and the communication modules on the six-month programme. Julie comes from a background in adult education, English language services, communication coaching, and development work. With a Master’s in International Development, she has worked for the Icelandic Red Cross in the field of migration and refugee support and as a consultant on development projects.Activities
