Two 5-day courses conducted for fish inspectors on quality management in fish handling and processing sector, in collaboration with Department of Fisheries Resources, Uganda, Fisheries Training Institute, Uganda, and Matis - Food Research and Innovation Institute.

Description

Two courses were conducted at the Fisheries Training Institute in Entebbe, Uganda, on 8th to 19th of August 2011. The first training course was conducted from 8th to 12th of August and mainly attended by Fish Inspectors from landing sites. The second training course was held from August 15 to 19 2011

The aim was to strengthen the fish inspection in Uganda
