This 3-day short course discussed company management mechanisms in collaboration with ICEIDA and MAFR, Sri Lanka. A total of 60 professionals participated of a variety of departments.
Description
The UNU-FTP, on cooperation with ICEIDA and the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of Sri Lanka (MAFR) organized and implemented three short training courses in project cycle management in Sri Lanka, in June, July and September 2007.
The aims of this course were to:
-develop teaching material for a brief intensive training course in project cycle management
-train Sri Lankan course instructors in deliver the course material so that it can be of use for the MFAR and it’s institutions for training after the completion of the project
60 professionals (41 men and 19 females) from MFAR and its institutions participated in the three courses that were held. The background of the participants varied from newly hired to heads of departments.
