The 5-day course/workshop focused on the "Maintenance and Operation of a Database on Artisanal Fisheries" in collaboration with the Ministry of Livestocks and Fisheries Development, Tanzania. The main target group of this session was the Fisheries officers in the statistics division of the Ministry.
Description
This "course" was actually a workshop for fisheries officers in the statistic division of the ministry. The aim was twofold:
- to finish the set up of the database and make it functioning
- to train staff of the statistic division to manage the data in the database, e.g. using queries and entering the data.
