UNU-FTP fellows in Russia meet with Ambassador

This week, former UNU fellows from Russia met with the Icelandic ambassador to Russia, Ms. Berglind Ásgeirsdottir, when she attended a Business Week in Mumarnks on technology in fisheries where 10 Icelandic companies introduced their products. Ms. Asgeirsdottir will visit PINRO (Polar Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography), which has been the institutional partner of the UNU-FTP over the years. The former fellows greeting the ambassador are: Alexander Pavlenko a fellow in 2005, Irina Prokopchuk a fellows in 2003, and Dr. Konstantin Sokolov a fellow in 2002. Dr. Sokolov organized the visit of Ms. Asgeirsdottir during her stay in Murmansk.
