Kenyan PS for Fisheries Development visits Iceland

Mr. Micheni Japhet Ntiba, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Fisheries Development in Kenya recently visited Iceland for a week-long trip. While in Iceland, he met with many members of the Icelandic fisheries community, including the UNU-FTP. The Kenyan delegation took a trip to the North of Iceland and spent several days in Akureyri where they gained an insider's perspective to the Icelandic fishing and processing industry. As Kenya continues with its firm commitment to develop its capacity in the area of fisheries, we at the UNU-FTP look forward to further cooperation and exchange of knowledge with our Kenyan counterparts.
