Yesterday, the UNU-FTP welcomed its newest board member, Professor Jakob Rhyner. Professor Rhyner is the Director of UNU Institute of Environment and Human Security and UNU Vice Rector for
Europe.
While he was in Iceland, Professor Rhyner attended his first UNU-FTP board meeting, and visited the other UNU programmes in Iceland, including the Land Restoration Programme, Geothermal Training
Programme. He was also introduced to the Gender Equity Studies and Training Programme at the University of Iceland.
