As this year’s six-month training programme draws to an end, GRÓ-FTP is happy to announce a series of seminars where graduating fellows will present and discuss results of their research here in Iceland.
The institutions where the fellows have been working on their research projects will host the presentations: The Marine and Freshwater Research Institute, University of Akureyri, Hólar University and Matís.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the challenges developing countries are facing in their fisheries and aquaculture sectors. A detailed schedule of all the seminars is available here.
- The first seminar focuses on aquatic resource assessment and monitoring.
It will be hosted by the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute, Fornubúðum 5 Hafnarfirði (Conference Room 1st floor), Monday April 17 between 08:45 and 12:00.

A graduation ceremony will take place on Wednesday April 26th at GRÓ-FTP headquarters, Fornubúðum 5 Hafnarfjörður (details to be published later).
