Developing countries' challenges to fisheries

Our fellows are putting in all the spare energy they have got to wrap up the final project of this year’s UNU-FTP six-months training program. They will introduce it during the next week. Graduation ceremony will then take place Monday February 26th (details will be published later).
The presentations are open to the general public (see schedule below). It is a great opportunity for everyone to learn about the challenges to fisheries all over the developing world. No registration – just come and enjoy with us.
- The first set of presentations will be focused on stock assessment and fishing gear technology and take place at the Hafró auditorium Skúlagata 4 Reykjavík, Monday February 19th from 13:00.
- The second set of presentations will be focused on sustainable aquaculture and take place at Verið /Sauðárkróki, Tuesday February 20th from 10:00.
- The final set of presentations will be focused on fish processing and quality management and take place at the headquarters of MATÍS Vínlandsleið 12 Reykjavík, Wednesday February 21st from 09:00.
