Short Bio
Berglind is Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Environmental and Forest Sciences at the Agricultural University of Iceland (AUI), where she coordinates the Master program in Restoration Ecology. Her professional background includes research and education in ecology and agriculture. She has conducted research on the influence of land condition on abiotic ecosystem processes, on restoration of ecosystem processes on severely degraded land, and on legumes and grasses for land reclamation and fodder production. Berglind served as the Deputy Director of GRÓ LRT from 2009 through 2023.
