Visit to ICEIDA and MFA
26 May 2011
Today the fellows of this year’s
six-month training programme visited the Icelandic International Development Agency (ICEIDA) and the Directorate for International Development at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs
(MFA).
At ICEIDA the fellows learned about ICEIDA’s role as a bilateral development agency, as well as about its history, policy and where they are currently operating. At MFA the fellows were introduced to the policy of Iceland regarding international development, and heard about Iceland’s peacekeeping missions and development cooperation.
