New staff member
UNU-LRT welcomes a new staff member. Ms. Halldora Traustadottir recently started working full time for the programme as office manager. She has a BA in Anthropolgy from the University of Iceland and an MA in Development Studies and Educational Studies from Roskilde University in Denmark. Furthermore, Halldora was recently awarded a postgraduate diploma in Applied Gender Studies from the University of Iceland.
Halldora has diverse work experience. She worked for the Icelandic International Development Agency (ICEIDA) in Namibia in 2005-2006. In 2007 she took a position as the Executive Managing Director for the Icelandic Women's Rights Association (NGO) where she worked until the end of 2011. In 2012 Halldora worked for the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources until she joined UNU-LRT in March 2013.
