Former UNU-LRT fellow completes MSc degree in Mongolia
11 April 2013
Mr. Batbaatar Amgaa, a fellow in the 2012 six-month training programme, defended his MSc thesis at the National University of Mongolia on 28 February. In his work Mr. Amgaa focused on the effects of grazing and topography on plant biomass allocation in the mountain steppe of northern Mongolia.
While studying at UNU-LRT in 2012 Mr. Amgaa worked on an individual project where he compared carbon and nitrogen stocks under grazed and un-grazed areas in Iceland. He also specialized in land degradation and global climate change during his stay at UNU-LRT. We congratulate Mr. Amgaa and wish him all the best in the future.
