UNU-GTP to part ways with UNU and to join UNESCO

We are pleased to announce that the United Nations University Geothermal Training Programme is joining hands with the other three UNU training Programmes in Iceland (UNU-Fisheries Training Programme, UNU-Land Restoration Training Programme, and UNU-Gender Equality Studies Training Programme) to form GRÓ: the Centre for Capacity Development – Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Societal Change in Iceland that will be operational as of January 1, 2020.
