The 41st session of the UNU-GTP closed on Friday 18th of October, with 24 UNU Fellows in the six month specialized courses.

UNU-GTP Fellow Kunzes Dolma from India is awarded the US WING award for courage.

Getenesh Hailegiorgis Abebe, MSc Fellow in Geophysics at University of Iceland will defend her MSc project on Thursday 3 October, 2019 at 15:00 at University of Iceland, Askja building, room 130.

We are pleased to announce that the United Nations University Geothermal Training Programme is joining hands with the other three UNU training Programmes in Iceland (UNU-Fisheries Training Programme, UNU-Land Restoration Training Programme, and UNU-Gender Equality Studies Training Programme) to form GRÓ: the Centre for Capacity Development – Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Societal Change in Iceland that will be operational as of January 1, 2020.
