Three UNU-GTP reports were the most frequently viewed publications in 2012

The report “Piping design: the fundamentals” by José Luis Henríquez Miranda and Luis Alonso Aguirre López, published by the UNU-GTP, was the most frequently viewed report.  Over the year, it was viewed 365,303 times, making it the most popular publication by far.  The report was presented at the Short Course on Geothermal Drilling, Resource Development and Power Plants, in El Salvador in 2011.

The second most-viewed report, was the MSc thesis “Absorption refrigeration system as an integrated condenser cooling unit in a geothermal power plant” by Tesha from 2009, which was viewed 114,520 times.

In third place, was the report “Gravity and magnetic methods” by José Rivas, presented at the Short Course on Surface Exploration for Geothermal Resources in El Salvador in 2009, which was viewed 86,575 times.

Additionally, it is interesting to see the geographic distribution of visitors who viewed the publications of the NEA and UNU-GTP.  With 23,698,449 views, Iceland was at the top, although it is not shown on the graph.
