The “Short Course on Geothermal Drilling, Resources Development and Power Plants” in El Salvador is ongoing.

The “Short Course on Geothermal Drilling, Resources Development and Power Plants” for young professionals in Central America, South America and the Caribbean was opened on January 16th in San Salvador.

The course is organized by UNU-GTP and LaGeo and is planned as a one week course (Jan. 16-23) with lectures and group work at the head quarters of LaGeo in Santa Tecla.

About 60 people involved in geothermal work are participating in the Short Course taught by close to 20 specialists from Iceland, Central America, South America, The Caribbean, the Philippines and the International Development Bank.
