SDG Short Course IV to be held in El Salvador, 18-24 September, 2022

GRÓ Geothermal Training Programme (GRÓ GTP) in Iceland and LaGeo S.A. de C.V. in El Salvador will be hosting "SDG Short Course IV on the Future of Geothermal Energy in Latin America and the Caribbean", to be held in El Salvador during 18-24 September, 2022. The topics addressed include a broad overview of the current status and future prospects of geothermal energy utilization in the LAC region, exploration and research, direct utilization, resource management, frontiers of sustainable geothermal development, and more. The Course will consist of lectures, discussions, project work and a field excursion to a Salvadoran geothermal field.

Note:
Participation is by invitation only. It is addressed to professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean who hold a university diploma or degree in relevant fields (natural sciences or engineering), who have been actively involved in geothermal development in their home country, or are potential candidates for that in the near future. Female participation is especially encouraged.
