MSc theses 2009 available for download

MSc theses by UNU-GTP/UI graduates of 2009, Tesha, Roy Bandoro Swandaru, Mulugeta Asaye Adale and Roberto Renderos, are now available for download. The MSc theses were published by the University of Iceland in 2009 following the defences and are currently in press by the UNU-GTP. The theses have been made available for download on the UNU-GTP website.

• UNU-GTP MSc Fellow Tesha, from Indonesia, defended his thesis entitled "Absorption refrigeration system as an integrated condenser cooling unit in geothermal power plant", on May 9 2009, at the University of Iceland. Supervisors on the project were Páll Valdimarsson and Thrándur Sigurjón Ólafsson.
• UNU-GTP MSc Fellow Roy Bandoro Swandaru from Indonesia, defended his thesis entitled "Modeling and optimization of possible bottoming units for general single flash geothermal power plants", on May 14 2009, at the University of Iceland. Supervisors on the project were Halldór Pálsson and Tómas Philip Rúnarsson.
• UNU-GTP MSc Fellow Mulugeta Asaye Adale from Ethiopia defended his thesis entitled "Evaluation of Maintenance Management through Benchmarking in Geothermal Power Plants", on May 28 2009, at the University of Iceland. Supervisor on the project was Magnús Thór Jónsson.
  
• UNU-GTP MSc Fellow Roberto Renderos, from El Salvador, defended his thesis entitled "Carbon dioxide fixation by calcite and diffusive degassing in the Southern region of the Berlin geothermal system, El Salvador", on June 8 2009, at the University of Iceland. Supervisor on the project was Halldór Ármannsson.
