Emergency landing on Holtavoerduheidi

On the afternoon of June 30th a small private plane emergency landed on Holtavörduheidi as the UNU-GTP Fellows were headed north on the annual excursion to
North Iceland. The plane landed due to complete motor stop for unknown reasons. UNU-GTP Fellows aided the pilot in moving the plane to secure grounds and provided a seat on the bus for the pasenger
on the plane who was headed north to Blönduós.
