GRÓ GEST Alumni Bring Together 161 Participants for International Webinar on Masculinity, Mental Health and Well-Being
On 7 July 2026, GRÓ GEST participated in the international webinar Beyond Silence: Conversations on Masculinity, Mental Health and Well-Being, organised by GRÓ GEST alumni Gloria Swilla (Tanzania) and Mumo Everlyne(Kenya) in collaboration with TAMIDA Tanzania, Thrive Together CBO and GRÓ GEST.

GRÓ Annual Report 2025 Published
The year 2025 was an active and productive one for GRÓ—Centre for Capacity Development, Sustainability and Societal Change, and the four training programmes in sustainable fisheries, gender equality, geothermal energy and land restoration.

Ársskýrsla GRÓ—Þekkingarmiðstöðvar þróunarsamvinnu fyrir árið 2025 komin út
Heildarumfang starfsemi GRÓ—Þekkingarmiðstöðvar þróunarsamvinnu á árinu 2025 er sett fram í ársskýrslu GRÓ 2025 sem nú hefur verið gefin út. Alls útskrifaðist 91 sérfræðingur úr fimm til sex mánaða námi á vegum GRÓ á árinu og höfðu í lok árs samtals 1.858 sérfræðingar útskrifast úr skólunum fjórum sem starfræktir eru á vegum GRÓ, það er Jafnréttisskólanum, Jarðhitaskólanum, Landgræðsluskólanum og Sjávarútvegsskólanum.

GRÓ LRT Fellows Explore Restored Wetlands in South Iceland
This week, the 2026 GRÓ LRT fellows took part in a day trip to South Iceland to explore restored wetlands with Professor Hlynur Óskarsson. The aim of the excursion was to learn about wetland ecosystems and compare restoration efforts at different stages.
