GRÓ-FTP welcomes new postgraduate scholarship recipient Symon Ngwira from Malawi

Symon Ngwira from Malawi, a former 2001-2022 FTP fellow, arrived in Iceland earlier in September to begin his master’s studies at the University of Iceland on a scholarship provided by GRÓ-FTP. Symon will study on the Environment and Natural Resources master´s programme which is an interdisciplinary and international programme with a focus on environmental issues and the utilisation of natural resources. Symon will specialise in Ocean Sustainability.

Fellows of the 15th cohort of the GRÓ Land Restoration Training Programme graduated from the six-month training in a ceremony, held on 14 September at the Keldnaholt campus of the Agricultural University of Iceland.
