SDG 14, Defining and defending small scale fisheries

SDG target 14b aims to provide access for small-scale artisanal fishers to marine resources and markets. About 2/3 of all fish caught for human consumption comes from small-scale fisheries. 90% of the people on fisheries are in the small-scale sector. Tumi Tómasson takes us through the concept of small-scale fisheries, how it has changed over time, and how we can apply it today.
